Where GoLove.ai pulls ahead is continuity. The same character carries across story, chat, photos and video, and for a companion that's the part I care about most.

Memory and relationship progression
This is the part that turns a chat into a relationship, and GoLove lists Memory and Relationship Progression as core features. My problem is where the big memory sits. The 8,000-message smart memory is ULTRA-only, which is weak sauce for something this central to the experience, and we can't tell you how it performs in practice. On my works / kinda / nope scale, memory lands in "kinda." That's not because it fails. It's because we couldn't verify how it holds up.
Reply tools that keep the thread moving
- Suggestions: the magic-wand button writes 3 replies for you to pick from
- Ratings: score any reply 1–5, then regenerate it
- Quick-reply chips, such as "Send me a sexy video"
These are actually useful. When you're stuck on what to type next, they keep the conversation going instead of letting it stall.
Photos and Video on Request: The Media Row Explained
For most people, this is the row that decides whether a companion feels like one person. If her face changes from photo to photo, what you've got is an image generator with a name attached.
Asking for a photo inside the chat
In any chat, tap the media button, choose Send Photo, and describe the scene in your own words. A photo of that same character comes back in about 20–45 seconds, for 1 Star. Her face and body stay consistent with her avatar and her earlier photos. Of the seven parts, this one goes squarely in the "works" column for me.
Turning that photo into a clip
Under each photo there's a one-tap Generate Video button. It makes about 5 seconds of video of the same scene in roughly a minute, for 10 Stars. Video Note works differently. You tell her what to say or do, and in under 90 seconds you get a round talking video with sound, also 10 Stars. (At 10 Stars a clip, PRO's 100 monthly Stars won't stretch far if video becomes a habit.)

Here's how the Story row works, one step at a time.
Episodes 1 and 2, before any account
Open Series from the main menu. It sits between Explore and Chat. Pick "My AI Girlfriend," a 7-episode show starring Lexie (@iamlexiebabe). Each episode is a 60–100-second vertical video with subtitles in nine languages. You can watch episodes 1 and 2 free, even without an account. From episode 3 on, you'll need PRO plus a few Stars per episode.
According to GoLove, there are new episodes every week. As of November 2026 the catalogue stands at 9 series and 54 episodes.
Start Chatting with the cast
Four buttons sit under the player: Follow Series, Start Chatting, Create Video and Create Image. Tap a name in the cast list and Lexie's profile opens. From there it's one more tap to her chat, where you can ask for a photo of your own.
Do you have to watch the show to chat with her? No. Her chat opens from Explore too. The show just gives you some context before the first message.

Skip the hype in both directions. Most questions about what an AI girlfriend is trace back to four myths, so here's each one next to what the app actually does.

- ULTRA Stars: We could not confirm how many more monthly Stars ULTRA gives compared with PRO.

If I had to pick the gap that matters most, it's memory on PRO, because that's the tier most people will actually pay for. Even so, none of these touch the core of the product: a character who chats with you, remembers you and sends photos and video.
